I forgot to mention that I heard Chris play one of his last gigs with the Restless Natives on Tuesday. (He leaves for Norway soon.) Some of the music blew me away. And the drummer, Kesivan Naidoo? (The one who won the award?) Nuh-uuuuuuhhhhhh. You can watch the video here, but I actually prefer the drumming that is on the video here.

Oh, thanks for mentioning my post on SA jazz. You should have heard Tony Schilder back in the day! Have you managed to catch Robbie Jansen in concert? I don't know of he is still playing a lot, but if you can, see him.

So I've looked at your blog, and like what I've read so far. I'm glad you love Cape Town so much. It's such a great place.

And I do hope the cancer pisses off.
